A

described.
Cobalt-catalyzed
hydrogen
atom
transfer
(HAT)
facilitates
tandem
radical
C-C
bond
formation
that
generates
functionalized
tetralin
products
in
the
face
of
potentially
problematic
hydrofluorination,
hydroalkoxylation,
hydrogenation,
alkene
isomerization,
polymerization
reactions.
The
reactions
proceed
under
mild
conditions
tolerate
many
functional
groups,
leading
to
a
broad
substrate
scope.
This
powerful
ring-forming
reaction
very
quickly
assembles
complex
tetralins
are
formal
largely
infeasible
Diels-Alder
cycloadditions
styrenes.

As
a
non-toxic,
highly
reactive
biomass
material,
gelatin
is
wildly
used
as
the
component
of
biomass-based
adhesive.
However,
like
most
aqueous
adhesives,
gelatin-based
adhesives
suffer
from
long
solidifying
time
or
high
temperature
due
to
low
volatility
water,
which
limits
application
potential
gelatinbased
adhesives.
Inspired
by
fast
adhesion
marine
organisms
through
formation
chemical
crosslinks,
herein,
kind
curable
eco-friendly
adhesive
with
good
properties
and
curing
at
developed
introducing
clicking
Diels-Alder
(DA)
reaction
between
blocked
waterborne
polyurethane
(MWPU)
gelatin.
The
furfuryl
glycidyl
ether
(FGE)
4-Maleimidophenol
(4-HPM)
for
DA
are
grafted
on
gelatin,
end-capping
MWPU,
respectively.
With
addition
MWPU
FGE,
cross-linking
degree
increased,
were
improved.
shear
strength
T-peel
modified
reached
0.95
MPa
1.42
N/mm,
respectively,
after
8
min
40°C,
can
meet
requirements
bio-medical
use.
