Due to their fascinating topological structures and application prospects, coordination supramolecular complexes have continuously been studied by scientists. However, the controlled construction property study of organometallic handcuffs remains a significant challenging research subject in area chemistry. Hence, series tetranuclear heterometallic bearing different size metal types were rationally designed successfully synthesized utilizing quadridentate pyridyl ligand (tetra-(3-pyridylphenyl)ethylene) based on three Cp*Rh (Cp* = η5-C5Me5) fragments specific longitudinal dimensions conjugated planes. These results determined with single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis technology, ESI-MS NMR spectroscopy, etc. Importantly, photoquenching effect Cp* groups discrepancy intermolecular π-π stacking interactions between building block half-sandwich promote markedly photothermal conversion results. will further push synthesis development materials.

Abstract Although metal single‐atom (SA)‐based nanomaterials are explored as sonosensitizers for sonodynamic therapy (SDT), they normally exhibit poor activities and need to combine with other therapeutic strategies. Herein, the deposition of SAs on oxygen vacancy (OV)‐rich WO 3− x nanosheets generate a synergistic effect efficient SDT is reported. Crystalline 3 OV‐rich first prepared by simple calcination ·H 2 O under an air N atmosphere, respectively. Pt, Cu, Fe, Co, Ni then deposited obtain SA‐decorated nanocomposites (M‐WO ). Importantly, Cu‐WO sonosensitizer exhibits much higher activity ultrasound (US)‐induced production reactive species than that Cu , which also M‐WO nanosheets. Both experimental theoretical results suggest excellent performance should be attributed between OVs. Therefore, after polyethylene glycol modification, can quickly kill cancer cells in vitro effectively eradicate tumors vivo US irradiation. Transcriptome sequencing analysis further molecular validation ‐mediated SDT‐activated apoptosis TNF signaling pathways potential drivers tumor induction.

The exploration of smart sensors is great significance for the selectivity, sensitivity, and ability to show low detection limit target analyte. Here, we have used linker H2L (5-((anthracen-9-ylmethyl)amino)isophthalic acid) construction {[Cd(L)(DMF)(H2O)2]·H2O}n (1) which in order with chromophore anthracene moiety free −NH functionality as a guest interaction site. This framework showed luminescence recovery "turn-on" Al3+ ion an aqueous solution. An exhaustive mechanism study disclosed that Lewis acid–base-type between –NH revealed absorbance caused enhancement sensing event. Besides event, "turn-off" phenomenon 1 also noticed when it detects hazardous oxo-anions (MnO4– CrO42–) values 17.08 19.91 ppb, respectively. these diverse analytes are very fast (10 s) they can be recognized through colorimetric response. mechanisms established by photoinduced electron transfer, Forster resonance energy inert filter effect along theoretical investigation. Furthermore, application versatile podium, MOF gel composite, 1@AA (AA = Agar–Agar), was developed from AA. Interestingly, under UV light. Triply interlocked [2]catenane complexes featuring two identical, mechanically units are extraordinarily rare chemical compounds, whose properties and applications remain open to detailed studies. Herein, we introduce the rational design of a new ligand precursor, L1, suitable for synthesis six triply [2]catenanes by coordination-driven self-assembly. Comprehensive Summary Making full use of coordination‐driven self‐assembly strategy, we herein described the selective synthesis a molecular Borromean rings and two cases “U”‐shaped tweezer‐like assemblies in high yield by using bipyridyl ligands based on biphenyl unit half‐sandwich binuclear rhodium(III)/iridium(III) building blocks. The was realized adjusting length dipyridyl arms. utilization curved U‐shaped ligand L1 led to assemblies. Subsequently, olefinic bonds were introduced elongate arms obtaining L2 . has stable conformations, U‐shape Z‐shape, which facilitated formation different topologies including tetranuclear macrocycle with blocks this work. These structures solid solution all have been further confirmed single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction, NMR analysis, mass spectrometry. In addition, as an important driving force, π‐π stacking interactions not only played significant role stability but also triggered photothermal conversion solution. experimental results demonstrated that compounds 1a 2 had good NIR efficiency (11.83% 17.76%), analysis found gradual increase trend increasing. This research expands application topological materials science provides new idea for novel materials.
