Regulating work functions (WF) FTO electrodes through energy levels, band bends upwards with a small offset for ITO/IDCz‐3/perovskite, thereby promoting hole extraction blocking electrons. As result, PSC employing IDCz‐3 as hole‐collecting layer exhibits champion PCE 25.15%, is record multipodal SAMs‐based PSCs. PEDOT:PSS has been widely used as a hole extraction layer (HEL) in organic solar cells (OSCs). However, their acidic nature can potentially corrode the indium tin oxide (ITO) electrode over time, leading to adverse effects on longevity of OSCs. Herein, we have developed class biphosphonic acid molecules with tunable dipole moments for self-assembled monolayers (SAMs), namely, 3-BPIC(i), 3-BPIC, and 3-BPIC-F, which exhibit an increasing moment sequence. Compared centrosymmetric axisymmetric 3-BPIC 3-BPIC-F higher adsorption energies (Eads) ITO, shorter interface spacing, more uniform coverage ITO surface, better interfacial compatibility active layer. Thanks incorporation fluorine atoms, exhibits deeper highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) energy level larger compared resulting enlarged work function (WF) ITO/3-BPIC-F substrate. These advantages could not only improve within device but also lower impedance reduce nonradiative recombination at interface. As result, OSCs using SAM based obtained record high efficiency 19.71%, is than that achieved from 3-BPIC(i) (13.54%) (19.34%). Importantly, 3-BPIC-F-based significantly enhanced stability utilizing HEL. Our offers guidance future design functional SAMs realize even performance cells.

Abstract The antisolvent‐assisted spin‐coating still lags behind the thermal evaporation method in fabricating perovskite films atop industrially textured silicon wafers making monolithic perovskite/silicon solar cells (P/S‐TSCs). inhomogeneity of hole‐selective self‐assembled monolayers (SAMs) often arises from insufficient bonding between hygroscopic phosphonic acid anchors and metal oxide. To address this, a mixed‐SAM strategy (Mx‐SAM) is proposed to enhance adsorption energy SAMs on ITO surface, facilitate formation dense humidity‐resistant layer (HSL) substrates, improve hole transport capabilities. With aid Mx‐SAM strategy, optimized wide‐bandgap PSCs achieved an impressive power conversion efficiency (PCE) 22.63% with exceptionally high fill factor ( FF ) 86.67% using 1.68 eV perovskite. Moreover, they exhibited enhanced stability under damp‐heat conditions (ISOS‐D‐3, 85% RH, 85 °C) T 90 900 h for encapsulated PSCs, representing one best performances PSCs. When further extending P/S‐TSCs industry, remarkable 28.07% reached while upholding outstanding reproducibility. This holds significant promise feasibility industrially‐compatible P/S‐TSCs.

Abstract Self‐assembled monolayers (SAMs) as hole‐collecting materials have made remarkable progress in inverted perovskite solar cells (PSCs). However, the incomplete coverage of SAMs and non‐intimate interface contact between perovskite/SAMs usually cause inferior characteristics significant energy losses at heterojunction interface. Herein, a post‐assembled chelating molecular bridge strategy using 5‐(9H‐carbazol‐9‐yl)isophthalicacid (CB‐PA) is developed to modify buried It found that CB‐PA can be chemically coupled with MeO‐2PACz through π–π stacking carbazole groups, chelate by forming double C═O···Pb bonds, thus constructing bridge‐connected promote carrier extraction.
