Abstract Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a widespread condition that affects adults and the community considerably. The causes are yet unknown, except from advanced age genetic predisposition. Natural products provided advantageous advantages for managing AD due to their efficacy, safety, accessibility. memory boosting effects of chemically characterized Ipomoea carnea ethanol extract (IPC-EtOH) on behavioral, biochemical, histological, molecular levels against cognitive impairment induced by AlCl 3 exposure in rats were assessed using donepezil as reference drug. Behavioral tests (spontaneous alternation T-maze open field test) assays GSK3β, CREB, FOXO1a, β-secretase, tau, oxidative stress biomarkers, histopathology, immunohistochemistry cyclooxygenase 2 (COX-2) conducted. chemical profiling IPC-EtOH UPLC-ESI–qTOF-MS coupled with networking revealed identification 83 bioactive metabolites, including pyrrolizidine alkaloids cinnamic acid derivatives which previously undescribed this species. injection significantly elevated β -secretase, GSSG, GSK-3 , FOXO3a down regulated CAT, SOD, strong COX-2 immunoexpression cortex hippocampus compared controls. Oral co-administration or -treated restored near-normal function these brain regions, attenuating spatial learning, memory, locomotor impairments. These results suggest could be promising therapy mitigating aluminum-induced neurotoxicity, though further studies needed elucidate its precise mechanisms action. outcomes emphasize I. extract’s potential an appealing demonstrating neuroprotective memory-enhancing properties having -induced impairment.

Maesa indica Roxb. Sweet is a shrub known for its richness in secondary metabolites. A callus culture protocol was established to enhance chemical profile. Sixteen elicitation treatments were evaluated, and we confirmed that the treatment of 200 mg/L polyethylene glycol (4000) coupled with exposure 30 W UV irradiation 60 min (PEG4) resulted highest total phenolic flavonoid contents, which 4.1 4.9 times those plant ethanolic extract 4.8 control sample, respectively. The compounds different identified qualitatively quantitatively using LC-ESI-MS/MS-MRM technique. Molecular docking studies conducted MOE software revealed rutin showed binding affinity toward anti-cancer target (p38α MAPK). cytotoxicity ME PEG 4 tested against colon, breast, prostate, lung, liver cell lines an MTT assay. cytotoxic effect PEG4 prostate cancer IC50 value 25.5 µg/mL. Hence, this study enhanced metabolite accumulation 16 treatments. assay highlighted possible treatment, recommend further investigations into activity.
