Abstract The Fertile Crescent of Southwest Asia holds high genetic diversity crop species the grass tribe Triticeae, which provide staple food for majority human population. Genetic and their relationships were studied among 51 accessions from Aegilops Triticum Iraqi Kurdistan. Eighteen SCoT markers used to generate a total 139 alleles. discriminating power was assessed with polymorphism information content (PIC) marker index (MI), that valued at 0.56 3.7, respectively. These results indicate informativeness studying species. A level identified accession, separate three distinct groups based on data. All different an ‘A’ genome clustered together in group, including tauschii (possessing D genome). While other (U genome) two groups. Analysis molecular variance (AMOVA) partitioned 62% variability populations, while 38% variation considered between within populations. Principal coordinate analysis (PCoA) data showed first components clarified 54.73% variation, indicating consistent patterns accessions. inferred UPGMA dendrogram matched PCoA, grouping agreement botanical classifications. obtained could allow future insight into wheat breeding programs.

Quercus brantii var. persica and infectoria are two economically ecologically important oak species widespread in the Zagros forest, located northwestern southwestern parts of Iran. An effective study genetic diversity population structure these resources is still unexplored. In present study, 48 accessions mentioned collected from different regions Kermanshah province were subjected to a using sets markers (inter-simple sequence repeats [ISSR] CAAT-box derived polymorphism [CBDP]). CBDP showed greater efficiency detecting individuals studied. The analysis molecular variance [AMOVA] that variation within species, as well per was higher than between species. had highest values for all indicators variability. Moreover, at regional level, Dalahoo populations both ISSR markers. This population, along with Gilan-e-Gharb results indicate high level isolated regions, which turn promotes formation structure. Therefore, this may contribute further conservation improvement Iranian germplasm.

Annamocarya sinensis (Dode) Leroy, a relict plant from the Tertiary period, is member of genus in Juglandaceae family. Despite its wide distribution Guangxi Province, habitats this species had become fragmented and isolated, causing it facing deterioration. For protecting endangered species, crucial to understand status wild genetic diversity. In study, 216 A . accessions 18 populations were examined using Start Codon Target Polymorphism (SCoT) markers for PCR amplification, diversity, population structure analysis. Out 20 SCoT primers used, 222 sites amplified, with 185 being polymorphic (PPB 83.33%). Polymorphic information content values ranged 0.4380 0.4999, Nei’s diversity index ranging 0.1573 0.2503, Shannon 0.1583 0.3812. Through AMOVA analysis, total within was calculated out as 0.3271 0.1542 respectively, differentiation coefficient between 0.5286, gene flow 0.4458. Cluster analysis categorized germplasm into three groups, while divided all ancestral sources 19.91% showing mixed origins. No significant correlation observed geographical distance on Mentel test (r = 0.07348, p 0.7468). Overall, displays relatively rich at level, albeit fairly uniform background high differentiation. This study provides basis conservation innovative use resources.
