The search for substitutes conventional fuels leads to the use of hydrocarbon-free or synthetic fuels. One them is hydrogen. hydrogen in combination with a two-stage charge creation system combustion lean (λ > 1) very 3) charges. simulation tests carried out were aimed at determining best configuration chamber connecting prechamber main chamber. Three variants diameter holes chambers selected (d = 0.5; 1.0 and 1.5 mm) different fuel doses fed prechamber. A passive (qo_PC 0 mg) an active 0.4 1.2 used, while simultaneously sending dose (qo_MC 6 mg). research was conducted using AVL Fire 2022.1 software moving mesh LDV engine. As result work, most favorable conditions carrying process determined, considering thermodynamic effects accepted values nitrogen oxide concentration. resulting correlation maps sizes openings may determine initial selection possibilities controlling TJI system.

Abstract This study aims to operate a CRDI‐equipped single‐cylinder CI engine in dual fuel mode with pilot‐ignited WCB and port‐injected NH 3 fuel. The current experimentally investigates the influence of various AEFs on performance, combustion, pollutant emissions at peak load (4.14 bar BMEP @ 1500 rpm) conditions constant speed. obtained results showed that AEF was limited due its inherent combustion properties. Under aforementioned operating conditions, we achieved maximum 44.89% AEF. achieves BTE 29.33%. Moreover, operation, switches from diffusion phase operation rapid controlled as increases. ICT reduces 1488 1443 K when increases 0% 44.89%, respectively. Although injection notably decreased CO 2 , HC, CO, smoke by 57.14%, 60.26%, 71.42%, 67.59%, NOx increased 16.21% compared operation. BSEC dual‐fuel is 13.07 MJ/kW‐hr, which slightly higher than biodiesel mode, 12.17 MJ/kW‐hr. ICP, HRR, ID were 2.6 bar, 4.64 J/deg., 5 CAD, CD phasing reduced 9.3 CAD 7.98 However, turbulence within cylinder fluctuates significantly, COV IMEP reaching 5.23% an 44.89%.
