The volunteer's dilemma is a well-known game in theory that models the conflict players face when deciding whether to volunteer for collective benefit, knowing volunteering incurs personal cost. In this work we introduce quantum variant of classical dilemma, generalizing it by allowing utilize strategies. Employing Eisert-Wilkens-Lewenstein quantization framework, analyze multiplayer scenario with an arbitrary number players, where cost shared equally among volunteers. We derive analytical expressions players' expected payoffs and demonstrate game's advantage over game. particular, prove possesses symmetric Nash equilibria larger compared unique equilibrium game, wherein use mixed Furthermore, show identify are Pareto optimal. Our findings reveal distinct dynamics scenarios adhere rules, underscoring strategic decision making settings. Published American Physical Society 2025

As Hong Kong faces increasing pressure on resources and environmental sustainability, there is a growing need to shift towards circular building practices. The ever-increasing demand for sustainable urban development necessitates innovative approaches greener more design construction. This paper introduces new integrated Technology–Material–Design (TMD) Circularity Assessment Framework, three-dimensional comprehensive tool designed evaluate enhance the circularity level of buildings in Kong. Through an extensive literature review, research study identifies perspective with key metrics best practices that inform assessment framework, enabling various stakeholders pinpoint effective strategies overcoming profound challenges seizing timely opportunities foster resilient built environment. successfully categorises all frameworks into three perspectives, i.e., material-based, technology-oriented, design-supported. Future could apply BIM technology automate circularise framework. Another significant contribution this derivation formula Building Index (BCI) Kong, which quantifies levels using set defined measurement metrics. By providing robust method, TMD Framework facilitates informed decision making architects, engineers, governments, developers, policymakers, other horizon. review findings underscore potential guide transition buildings, ultimately contributing broader goals sustainability resource efficiency Kong’s construction real estate sector.

Under the dual pressures of global climate change and resource depletion, recycling construction solid waste has become a crucial link in promoting sustainable development. This study adopts life cycle assessment (LCA) method to conduct comparative analysis differences environmental benefits between treatment traditional simple landfill treatment. The results show that, specific scenarios, adoption not only significantly reduces greenhouse gas emissions but also saves large amount natural resources. From an economic perspective, although initial investment may be relatively high, its long-term far exceed those landfills. In view current challenges faced by waste, such as lack data, uncertain market demand, insufficient policy support, this recommends strategies strengthening data collection, expansion, enhancing support facilitate green transformation development industry.

Following observation, we first develop self-defined indicator named Average Loss Ratio predict caused by an area. Then, adopt existing ARIMA model After that, propose integrate TOPSIS Grey Prediction Model rank recommendation levels candidate areas, thereby assisting their decision-making process. conduct experiments datasets validate our proposal, results suggest effectiveness proposed method.
