Subject. The article addresses the impact of global gas crisis on Russian stock market destabilization. Objectives. study aims at fixation financial instability sectors economy during period negative crisis. Methods. We employed general scientific research methods. Results. considered transmission contagion to economic (metallurgy, energy, telecommunications, chemistry and petrochemistry, finance, transport consumer), where oil sector acted as a transmitter, recorded process transferring domestic economy. used special econometric tests analyzed simulated values dynamic conditional correlations. obtained results were evaluated for statistical significance by comparing test statistics with critical values. do not refute hypothesis in all without exception. At same time, contagion, which is due varying intensity its spread through exchange trading channel. Conclusions. exposure industries high share energy structure To weaken interconnectedness between other sectors, it important reduce dependence imports, diversify switch long-term contracts reliable partners.
