This review is dedicated to the removal of heteroatoms from plastic pyrolysis liquid products for use in petrochemical industry. The chapters are devoted removing individual groups and summarizing current scientific knowledge on subject. Attention given possibilities heteroatom at all stages recycling process except sorting. Most findings this area relates halogen removal, where high efficiencies can be achieved already process. In contrast, other has mainly been studied product, usually a hydrogen atmosphere presence catalyst. It seems economically feasible remove as early possible part by washing waste water, which large proportion present impurities. work highlights need comprehensive mapping and, many cases, more data regarding their removal. Finally, conclusions drawn further research area.

This work reports the study of catalytic pyrolysis rejected plastic fractions collected from municipal solid waste whose mechanical recovery is not plausible due to technical or poor conservation issues. The chemical recycling using was carried out over commercial zeolites formulas, i.e., HY and HZSM-5, in which Ni Co metals were deposited at two different loadings (1 5%, wt.). presence these transition on zeolitic supports impacted total production compounds existing liquid oil. samples characterized terms structural, chemical, morphologic properties, fuel (gasoline, light cycle oil, heavy oil) correlated with a combined parameter defined as ratio Acidity/BET area.
