Abstract An experimental evaluation of the flow field on two high‐gravity spiral concentrators is presented along with analytical solutions. A digital depth gauge was used to measure liquid level troughs. The tracer particle trajectories and free surface velocity a were determined high‐speed camera. increase in rate leads an trough surface. Three full turns high gravity concentrator are sufficient for achieving stabilized flow. High‐gravity spirals show lower depths velocities but steeper outer zone than low‐gravity spirals. Higher contribute larger circulation zones, which eventually help greater separation heavier minerals from gangue particles.

Civilization and technical progress are not possible without energy. Dynamic economic growth translates into a systematic increase in demand for electricity. Ensuring the continuity reliability of electricity supplies is one most important aspects energy security highly developed countries. Growing consumption results only need to build new power plants but also expand transmission capacity. Therefore, large quantities electric cables produced all over world, after some time, they largely become waste. Recycling focuses on recovery metals, mainly copper aluminum, while polymer insulation often considered waste ends up landfills. Currently, more stringent regulations being introduced, environmental ones, which require maximizing reduction This article provides literature review cable recycling, presenting advantages disadvantages various recycling methods, including mechanical material recycling. It has been found that currently, there very possibilities cables, intensive scientific work carried out their development, consistent with global climate policy.

Within an uncertain environment and following carbon trade policies, this study uses the Extended Exergy Accounting (EEA) method for coal supply chains (SCs) in eight of world's most significant consuming countries. The purpose is to improve sustainability SCs terms Joules rather than money while considering economic, environmental, social aspects. This model a multi-product economic production quantity (EPQ) with single-vendor multi-buyer shortage as backorder. SC, there are some real constraints, such inventory turnover ratio, waste disposal environment, dioxide emissions, available budgets customers. For optimization purposes, three recent metaheuristic algorithms, including Ant Lion Optimizer, Optimization Algorithm, Whale suggested determine near-optimum solution "exergy fuzzy nonlinear integer-programming (EFNIP)." Moreover, exact (GAMS) employed validate results algorithms. Additionally, sensitivity analyses different percentages exergy parameters, capital, labor, environmental remediation, done gain deeper understanding improvement SCs. showed that sustainable SC USA has lowest total exergy, Poland China have highest.
