The primary methods for hydrogen transportation include gaseous storage and transport, liquid storage, transport via organic carriers. Among these, pipeline offers the lowest cost greatest potential large-scale, long-distance transport. Although construction operation costs of dedicated pipelines are relatively high, blending into existing natural gas networks presents a viable alternative. This approach allows to be transported end-users, where it can either separated use or directly combusted, thereby reducing costs. study, based on GERG-2008 equation state, conducts experimental tests compressibility factor hydrogen-doped mixtures across temperature range −10 °C 110 pressure 2 12 MPa, with ratios 5%, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%. results indicate that ratio, temperature, significantly affect factor, particularly under low-temperature high-pressure conditions, an increase in ratio leads notable rise factor. These findings have substantial implications practical design hydrogen-enriched pipelines, as changes impact operational parameters, compressor characteristics, other system performance aspects. Specifically, introduction alters medium, affecting pipeline’s flowability compressibility, which crucial optimizing applying channels. research outcomes provide valuable insights understanding combustion reactions, adjusting facilitating more precise decision-making pipelines.
