Background: Effective humanitarian logistics (HL) is essential in disaster response. The “Internet of Things” (IoT) holds potential to enhance the efficiency and efficacy HL, yet adoption slowed by numerous barriers. Methods: This study employs interpretive structural modeling (ISM) decision-making trial evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL) explore classify barriers IoT integration HL. Results: A total 12 were identified, classified, ranked according their driving power dependence. Key include lack standardization, organizational resistance, data quality issues, legal challenges. Conclusions: Overcoming these could significantly improve relief operations, reduce errors, processes investigation first its kind into laying groundwork for further research providing valuable insights HL managers.

Purpose In the existing era, international trade is boosted by maritime freight movement. The academicians and Government are concerned about environmental contamination caused goods that transit global growth development. Digital technologies like blockchain help business to stay competitive in digital age. This study aims illuminate technology (BCT) adoption aspects alleviate early industry restrictions. Design/methodology/approach adopts a two-stage approach comprising of structural equation modeling (SEM) with artificial neural networks (ANN) analyze critical factors influencing BCT sustainable industry. Findings SEM findings from this illustrate social, organizational, technological infrastructual institutional affect execution. Furthermore, ANN technique uses data determine sustainability enabled training (S3), initial investment cost (O5) trust over (G1) most essential deployment factors. Originality/value hybrid decision-makers policymakers examine their organizational goals construct sustainable, efficient effective transportation.

Smart technology is essential for integrating circular economy principles. This research investigates how conflict management strategies (collaboration, accommodation, avoidance, compromise, and competition) impact the adoption of smart technology, particularly blockchain, in Jordanian SMEs. Additionally, study explores moderating role customer-centric green supply chain relationship between blockchain addresses a gap literature by focusing on SMEs, an under-explored context. Data were collected from 421 senior managers, department heads, executives analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), to test hypotheses analyze complex relationships. The findings reveal that are critical adoption, with collaboration compromise emerging as most influential. Moreover, positively impacts implementation effect enhances sustainability competitiveness SMEs through technology. contributes theory practice providing valuable insights into strategic driving technological innovation within framework, context

Digital transformation has become a prominent trend in both the private and public sectors. Different from studies focusing on of sector, this study aims to investigate impact sector digitalization, i.e., government digital (GDT), land use efficiency (LUE). Utilizing introduction Big Data Bureau (BDB) as quasi-natural experiment GDT, employs staggered difference-in-differences method (DID) finds that GDT is significantly positively related LUE, denoting cities undergoing exhibit increased LUE relative non-participants. These findings are robust after performing parallel tests, conducting instrumental variable propensity score matching methods or entropy balance, considering heterogeneous treatment effects, using other robustness checks. Furthermore, heterogeneity analysis shows stronger among eastern cities, with greater degree marketization, advanced Internet infrastructure. Finally, rationale behind effect upgrades industrial structures promotes innovation activities, thereby increasing LUE. This adds literature by providing novel insights into effects digitalization its role improving
