The COVID-19 outbreak created a global public health crisis to which governments responded with several measures, including lockdown on social and economic activities. This study assessed: (1) the supply chain disruptions caused by lockdown, (2) disruption effects performance of micro, small medium enterprises (MSMEs), (3) resilient strategies (responses) MSMEs adopted overcome challenges (4) how affected their responses varied across different MSME characteristics. Using descriptive statistics t-tests, found that reduced quantity, quality order lead time goods supplied. It also halted some other goods. Disruptions in MSMEs' reducing quality, variety stocked, reliability customers customer base. changing purchase arrangement, number employees, increasing product prices, closing businesses temporarily diversifying supplying essential products such as foods sanitary materials. Strengthening Agricultural Economic Resilience (AER) has become a crucial approach to ensuring food security and promoting sustainable social development, particularly in light of supply shocks such as limited resources, environmental pressures, stagnating agricultural profitability, diminishing demographic advantages. This study examines AER across 31 Chinese provinces from 2008 2020, analyzing its temporal evolution spatial distribution characteristics. Additionally, it assesses the spillover effects key driving factors using Spatial Durbin Model (SDM). The results indicate that China’s average rose 0.167 0.266 during period, showing marked upward trend gradual reduction regional disparities. Furthermore, exhibits strong positive correlation, with higher concentrations eastern central regions, while northeastern western areas show lower levels.
