As a critical step in moiré tomography, the extraction of phase information directly impacts accuracy and resolution results. In this study, an adaptive wavelet basis frequency selection method is proposed for extracting fringes. The theories are derived based on fringe intensity distribution, followed by numerical simulations that demonstrate feasibility reliability our method. Subsequently, validation experiments performed, which obtained compared with Fourier ridge detection methods. results indicate introduction demonstrates advantages noise resistance, accuracy, efficiency.
