Public sub-health has emerged as a pressing concern in densely populated urban areas. The environment, with its innate ability to modulate public emotions, harbors precious resource the form of rivers, which provide serene and verdant space. This study focuses on Liangma River Chaoyang District, Beijing, selecting two rivers diverse landscape features subjects research. By employing physiological feedback data conjunction subjective questionnaire, emotional impact high-density riverside spaces individuals is quantitatively analyzed. AbstractObjectives Total knee arthroplasty (TKA) is one of the most common joint surgeries, with over a million procedures performed annually in US. Over 70% patients report moderate to high pain and anxiety surrounding TKA surgery, 96% are discharged an opioid prescription. This population requires special attention as approximately 90% older adults riskiest groups prone misusing opioids. study aimed develop compare efficacy nature-based virtual reality (VR) heart rate variability biofeedback (HRVBF) mitigate surgical anxiety.Methods randomized control trial recruited 30 (mean age = 66.3 ± 8.2 years, 23 F, 7 M) undergoing surgery randomly assigned control, 2D video HRVBF, or VR HRVBF group. A visual analog scale (VAS) was used measure levels before after intervention.
