Suicide is an important health concern. Excepting cancer, the association between physical disorders and suicidal risk comparatively less explored. Instrumental variable analysis has been suggested as a powerful technique to deal with possible bias caused by unmeasured confounders in observational research. This population-based study set out assess of patients major employing instrumental analysis. Data were retrieved from National Health Insurance Research Database Death Certification Registry Taiwan (years 2010–2018). The Cox proportional hazards model estimator was performed, adjusting for comorbidities mental other covariates. Analytical results showed that compared their counterparts, had elevated death suicide within one year three years after diagnosis illness. Only did epilepsy not demonstrate statistically significant impact on suicide.

The desire to die among older adults has been reported in several European countries. This study aimed investigate the associations between grip strength (GS) and frequency of weekly moderate physical activity (MPA) with wish (WTD) middle-aged adults. A cross-sectional analysis was conducted 39,377 participants (22,313 women) from 27 countries, aged ≥50 years, responding wave 8 SHARE project. Background Suicide-related outcomes among adolescents have become a serious public health problem worldwide. Emerging evidence suggests that sports participation may interact with suicide-related outcomes. The objective of this systematic review is to systematically and summarize the association between adolescents. Design A according PRISMA Statement (International Platform Registered Systematic Review Meta-Analysis Protocols registration: INPLASY202330072) https://inplasy.com/inplasy-2023-3-0072/ . Methods literature search was conducted in three electronic databases: Web Science, PubMed, EBSCOhost. Results total 16 studies (12 cross-sectional studies, 4 prospective studies) met inclusion criteria were evaluated. Strong consistent found for negative suicidal ideation, suicide attempts, There insufficient support consistency plans, no regarding gender differences these Furthermore, there heterogeneity measures across included studies. Conclusion Evidence more participations are associated lower ideation attempts However, directionality observed associations should be examined based on high-quality longitudinal future.
