In recent years, synthetic polymers have become integral to modern society, but their improper disposal has led significant environmental challenges. Therefore, it is of great significance investigate the impact polymer waste. Herein, we conducted comprehensive research on biodegradability poly(styrene-alt-maleic anhydride) (PSM) when exposed soil and microbes, as well its toxic effects soybean seedlings Eisenia fetida. We found that the typical fluoroquinolone antibiotic enrofloxacin (ENR) and plasticizer di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) are often detected simultaneously at high frequencies in environment, but their combined exposure effects on soil animals poorly understood. Global sensitivity analysis combined with quantitative high-throughput screening (GSA-qHTS) uses random starting points of the trajectories in mixture design, which may lead to potential contingency and a lack representativeness.
