The rapid development of the residential and industrial sectors produces a huge amount treated domestic wastewater. wastewater is discharged could affect environment in long term. Improving quality for water reclamation would benefit both sectors. This study aims to determine efficiency biofilm-phytoremediation integration process reclaiming A cuboid-shaped reactor was filled with 15 L wastewater, utilizing hyacinth polyethylene carrier as supporting media process. integrated tested two phases: initial adaptation bacteria synthetic (Phase I) biofilm-phytoremediation, based on factors NH3-N concentration hydraulic retention time (HRT), 24 48 h II). In Phase II, pollutant removal observed at varying concentrations: C1 (11–13 mg/L), C2 (9–11 C3 (3–5 mg/L). study’s findings indicate consistent performance first phase, rates COD ranging between 86.7–100.0% 79.0–99.6%, respectively. effectively removed pollutants concentrations NH3-N, average up 100% (COD), 99% (NH3-N), 80% (PO43−). shows finest outcomes non-potable recovery, well offers an alternative resolve scarcity use various

The Chinese mitten crab is an important aquaculture product in China. Currently, rice-crab co-culture a novel model that can realize positive interactions. feed for crabs cultured rice fields should be distinguished from other modes, since their culture environment unique. Therefore, this study designed three experimental groups were fed 15% (RC1), 25% (RC2), and 35% (RC3) protein, with natural bait group (RC0) without artificial feeding as the control. protein nutritional requirements of investigated by exploring indicators growth performance, nutrient composition, immunity, antioxidant capacity, economic benefits different groups. Through comprehensive discussion one-way analysis variance regression data, we obtained following results: feeds high-level improved quality, reduced exposure to oxidative stress. Specifically, contents major nutrients flavor-presenting substances, such free amino acids (FAA), nucleotides, essential (EAA), edible parts female significantly higher than those all Male − 28.08% diets showed production performance FAA content. In conclusion, optimal dietary levels male reared are different: they females, at least males. actual production, could separately using baits reduce costs achieve green sustainable development.

The fishery-photovoltaic complementary industry is an emerging industrial model in China that integrates aquaculture with the solar industry. This innovative involves conducting activities while installing photovoltaic modules on water surface to harness energy for electricity generation. However, despite its rapid growth China, this lacks substantial scientific data support across various domains. Therefore, based analysis of relevant research literature, study reviews current development status, environmental and economic effects, as well challenges faced by China. aim provide references promoting sustainable within sector. findings reveal existing projects are primarily concentrated middle lower reaches Yangtze River Pearl Basin. geographical distribution these predominantly influenced local areas available resources, a greater impact observed from former rather than latter. During summer months when shaded panels, slight decrease average quality parameters cases was observed, such 0.2 units pH, 1.06 °C temperature, dissolved oxygen levels 0.8 mg/L, inorganic nitrogen content total phosphorus concentration dropped 0.08 mg/L 0.02 respectively. Conversely, there moderate increase noted ammonia levels. conclusion effect phytoplankton biomass not uniform, but it will certainly reduce zooplankton biomass. species diversity community minimal, direction, whether positive or negative, varied depending specific aquatic ecosystem. A certain degree shade advantageous cultivation shade-loving fish. Through strategic deployment panels implementation stocking practices, possible achieve sustained fisheries production. also can 978.6 tons CO2 emissions per megawatt year through production, thus achieving combined goals conservation reduction, ensuring profitability power Additionally, compared land utilization area 3.66 hm2 traditional ground-mounted photovoltaics, only requires 1.64 hm2, which significantly save resources utilizing surfaces, mitigates conflict between use agriculture renewable installations. At same time, pointed out existence inevitably have some negative impacts bird communities. Economic analyses indicate initial infrastructure costs long payback periods pose challenges, overall feasibility promising, especially governmental technological advancements. several need be addressed further development: include difficulties associated construction costs, periods; insufficient experience technical support; lack ecological - particularly urgent comprehensive life cycle assessments encompassing both aspects. Future should focus assessments, improved PV technology integration, optimized practices.

Selecting microalgal species with efficient nutrient uptake capabilities and employing an effective cultivation system are critical to successful AD effluent reclamation. While Scenedesmus sp. MUR 272 Chlorella 269 have shown efficiency in suspension-based ADFE treatment, biofilm-based presents a promising, cost-efficient alternative for valorization. Our study investigates the feasibility of cultivating these strains biofilm treat ADFE, using modified F/2 medium as control. Growth monitoring Chlorophyll (ChlF a) fluorescence measurement assessed algal performance biofilm. Biomass yield ranked follows: ADFE>Scenedesmus MF/2>Chlorella MF/2. Both demonstrated significantly higher biomass productivity than ChlF data revealed that maintained relatively more stable photosynthetic culture progressed. exhibited similar induction curve both F/2. intensity increased progressed, decreased till day 10, especially at J I step, suggesting presence stress factor culture. Efficient removal was achieved 87–100 % ammoniacal nitrogen (NNH3) 73–85 phosphate. More protein carbohydrates were produced on 4 10 species, showing metabolites Scenedesmus. These species' hold promise valorization effluents.
