This study investigated the electrocoagulation (EC) treatment of tannery wastewater using plane and punched aluminum iron electrodes at optimum condition pH 9, voltage 20 V, electrode distance 1 cm 90 min electrolysis duration. The efficiency EC process was determined by evaluating levels biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), chemical (COD), Chromium (Cr) in treated effluents. experiment utilized both linear regression Artificial Neural Network (ANN) models for modeling, with ANN model validating predicted from experimental design 95 % confidence. use resulted an removal BOD (89.66 %), COD (96.21 Cr (96.05 TDS (95.77 %). On other hand, achieved a 90.86 98.62 96.94 (Cr), 96.92 (TDS). Similarly, when electrodes, BOD, COD, 87.57 %, 94.77 93.42 93.08 respectively, while removed 89.01 96.59 94.66 TDS. results demonstrate that proposed effectively predicts effluent TDS, addressing economic environmental sustainability concerns.

The accurate evaluation of the effective mechanical properties composites mainly depends on characteristics representative volume elements (RVEs). This paper investigates RVE size. Additionally, effect fraction reinforcement, edge effect, and types critical size are discussed. First, Al/Ni multilayered were processed by nine cycles cross-accumulative roll bonding (CARB) method. Then, one type RVEs was created based cross-sectional micrographs to consider their inhomogeneities. Another generated using random sequential adsorption (RSA) procedure. Thereafter, homogenized elastic both microstructure-based RSA-based computed compared as a function Ni results showed that increasing fragments, indicated stiffer behavior. Abstract This current investigation explored the thermal conversion process of castor wood into biochar, which was subsequently harnessed for removing naproxen from pharmaceutical industrial effluent via adsorption. Surface composition analyses conducted through scanning electron microscopy–energy dispersive X‐ray, laser‐induced breakdown spectroscopy, and Fourier‐transform infrared studies unveiled presence nano MgO particles within adsorbent material. Employing optimization techniques such as response surface methodology facilitated a refined approach to batch study. The optimized conditions sodium (NPX) adsorption on nano‐MgO‐modified biochar were identified pH 4, 1.5 g/L dosage, 120‐min contact time maintaining constant NPX concentration 10 mg/L. capacity calculated be 123.34 mg/g nano‐magnesium oxide‐modified (modified biochar) 99.874 pristine (pristine biochar). Fenton's reagents comprising 15 mM FeSO 4 (7H 2 O) 25 H O have been scrutinized under 3.0, reaction 30 min, temperature 30°C, stirring at 120 rpm, followed by treatment. COD, NH 3 –N, NO − , PO 3− removal percentages found 90%, 87%, 79%, 80%, respectively. Thus MgO‐modified holds promise treatment effluent.
