Pregnancy is a particularly vulnerable period for the growing fetus, when exposure to toxic agents, especially in early phases, can decisively harm embryo development and compromise future health of newborn. The inclusion various chemical substances personal care products (PCPs) cosmetic formulations be associated with disruption damage nervous system. Microplastics, benzophenones, parabens, phthalates metals are among most common found cosmetics that have been shown induce neurotoxic mechanisms. Although neurotoxin believed minimal, different scenarios suggest these neurotoxins remain threat. Special attention should paid first weeks gestation, critical processes, like migration proliferation neural crest derived cells, start form ENS. Importantly, cross placental barrier affect embryo, but they also secreted breast milk, so babies exposed longer periods, even after birth. In this review, we explore how contained PCPs may role pathogenesis neurodevelopmental disorders neurodegenerative diseases and, therefore, congenital enteric aganglionosis as well postnatal motility disorders. Understanding mechanisms chemicals used their neurotoxicity crucial determining safety use during pregnancy.

Cardiometabolic diseases (CMDs), encompassing cardiovascular and metabolic dysfunctions, characterized by insulin resistance, dyslipidemia, hepatic steatosis, inflammation, have been identified with boosting morbidity mortality due to the dearth of efficacious therapeutic interventions. In recent years, studies shown that variations in gut microbiota its own metabolites can influence occurrence CMDs. Intriguingly, composition function are susceptible exercise patterns, thus affecting inflammatory, immune, responses within host. this review, we introduce key mechanisms intestinal microecology involved onset development CMDs, discuss relationship between microecology, then analyze role beneficial effects on aiming at elucidating gut-heart axis mediated protective effect building avenues for application management

Imperata cylindrica Beauv.var. major (Nees) C.E.Hubb., commonly known as BaiMaoGen (BMG), a medicinal and edible traditional Chinese (TCM) herb used in health supplements, has been observed to offer protective effects against gastrointestinal disorders. However, the specific bioactive compounds their molecular mechanisms have not fully elucidated. This study employed ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UHPLC-MS/MS) systematic network pharmacology analyze identify key active components interactions with biological targets. Thirty-six main compounds, including 3,4-dihydroxybenzoic acid p-hydroxybenzoic acid, were identified analyzed for interaction protein targets using docking dynamic simulations. combined approach highlighted therapeutic pathways involved, particularly PI3K/AKT signaling pathways, providing new insights into basis of BMG's gastroprotective effects. Our findings suggested that complex multi-target action can potentially be harnessed develop effective treatments toxicity.
