Herein,
we
report
a
Cu(II)-catalyzed
multi-component
reaction
for
the
facile
synthesis
of
1,3-naphthoxazines
from
amidines
and
ortho-quinone
methides,
which
are
in
situ-generated
2-naphthols
N,
N-dimethylaminoethanol
(DMEA).
DMEA
acts
as
unique
efficient
C1
synthon
well
solvent.
A
variety
with
diverse
functional
groups
were
provided
moderate
to
excellent
yields.

We
disclose
herein
an
efficient
photochemical
formal
[3+2+1]
annulation
strategy
for
the
transformation
of
diazocarbonyl
compounds
into
various
fluorinated

heterocycles.
