This study was aimed at isolating potential antimicrobial compound (AMC) producing bacteria. AMC produced by a Bacillus species evaluated further for its potential. Antimicrobial compound-producing bacteria were isolated from the soil of crop fields local region Satana, Nashik (India), and tested against clinical isolates. Utilizing coastal land for agriculture presents challenges such as low water content, high soil salinity, and organic compound content. To support plant growth under these conditions, biofertilizers composed of promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR), especially those inhabiting areas, are needed. The Parangkusumo sand dunes on the southern coast Java, Indonesia, is a unique ecosystem characterized by arid temperatures, salinity. date, no studies have reported isolation PGPR from this ecosystem. This study first to isolate identify associated with Spinifex littoreus, dominant species in dunes, which adapted harsh condition dunes. Ten rhizobacterial isolates were obtained, five identified members Bacillaceae family. All demonstrated phosphate solubilization activity, while seven exhibited cellulolytic activity. One isolate, Priestia aryabhattai strain 2, notably showed nitrogen fixation activities. findings activity screening offer valuable insights developing tailored agricultural applications.
