An avulsion is a severe dental injury characterized by the complete displacement of tooth from its socket, often resulting in compromised prognosis. One key factors influencing success reimplantation extraoral dry time, which refers to duration remains outside socket. Prolonged time significantly impairs viability periodontal ligament cells, crucial for successful healing and reattachment. Despite various protocols treatment strategies developed manage avulsed teeth, no single approach addresses all needs effectively, particularly cases delayed reimplantation. Simvastatin, an anti-lipidemic drug, has demonstrated pleiotropic effects that extend beyond cholesterol lowering. These include anti-inflammatory properties, promotion bone regeneration, enhancement cell survival. Such actions suggest simvastatin may have beneficial role improving outcomes following teeth. This case series proposes use as adjunctive teeth along with platelet-rich fibrin hydroxyapatite, situations where delayed. By mitigating inflammation stimulating tissue help counteract damage caused prolonged time. Its potential promote survival enhance processes could improve prognosis reimplantation, even traditional alone would be less effective. Given these promising represent valuable addition protocol extended times. However, further clinical studies trials are necessary validate efficacy establish clear management

Background: The relationship between dental implants and sinus mucoceles is an area of growing interest in oral maxillofacial surgery, as therapeutic approaches for these conditions remain controversial. This case report presents a 48-year-old male with no significant medical history who sought care due to recurrent abscesses on the distal abutment five-unit maxillary bridge. Clinical radiographic evaluations, including Cone-Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT), revealed pathologic lesion associated second molar, insufficient alveolar bone height posterior maxilla, radiopaque mass floor. Methods: A one-stage surgical approach was planned, involving molar extraction, cyst removal, floor elevation, simultaneous implant placement. prosthetic restoration completed six months postoperatively. Results: Over 88-month follow-up period, complications were observed, patient reported high satisfaction restoration’s function aesthetics. Conclusions: highlights single-stage strategy’s feasibility long-term success managing asymptomatic while optimizing placement rehabilitation.

The development of effective biomaterials for tissue regeneration has led to the exploration blood derivatives such as leucocyte- and platelet-rich fibrin (L-PRF). A novel variant, Albumin-Enriched Platelet-Rich Fibrin (Alb-PRF), been introduced improve structural stability bioactivity, making it a promising candidate bone regeneration. This study aimed evaluate Alb-PRF’s capacity cytokine growth factor release, along with its effects on proliferation, differentiation, mineralization human osteoblasts in vitro. Alb-PRF membranes were analyzed using histological, scanning electron microscopy, fluorescence microscopy techniques. Cytokine release was quantified over seven days, osteoinductive potential evaluated MG-63 osteoblast-like cells. Structural analysis showed biphasic, highly cellularized material that releases lower levels inflammatory cytokines higher concentrations platelet-derived (PDGF) vascular endothelial (VEGF) compared L-PRF. exhibited early alkaline phosphatase activity vitro (p < 0.05) significantly increased OPG/RANKL mRNA ratio 0.05). These results indicate scaffold repair, warranting further vivo clinical assessments confirm suitability applications.
