Amyloidosis is a group of diseases characterized by the extracellular deposition abnormally folded, insoluble proteins that lead to organ dysfunction. While it commonly affects cardiovascular system, gastrointestinal (GI) tract involvement undetermined. Recent research has focused on understanding pathophysiology, diagnostic challenges, and therapeutic approaches GI amyloidosis, particularly in systemic amyloid light-chain (AL) A (AA) forms. manifestations can include motility disorders, bleeding, and, severe cases, bowel obstruction. This review highlights importance early recognition digestive symptoms associated imagistic findings amyloidosis analyzing included clinical, pathological, endoscopic amyloidosis. systematic search PubMed Scopus databases identified 19 relevant studies.
