review
highlights
recent
advances
in
CQD‐based
composite
materials
applications
fluorescence
detection,
particularly
food
safety.
Combining
CQDs
with
diverse
enhances
performance,
stability,
selectivity,
enabling
the
sensitive
detection
of
various
contaminants.
CQD
composites
offer
significant
improvements
over
conventional
methods,
including
lower
limits,
faster
response
times,
broader
applicability.
Key

focus
include

residues,
veterinary

heavy
metal
ions,
pathogenic
bacteria
complex
matrices.
Advanced

strategies,
such

This
study
assessed
knowledge,
attitudes,
and
practices
related
to
food
hygiene
among
mothers
from
Malawi’s
rural
communities
against
the
WHO
Five
Keys
Safer
Food
(WHO-FKSF)
good
pre-and
post-harvest
(GPPHPs)
as
reference
points.
hundred
twenty-two

two
districts
were
selected
for
survey.
The
results
indicated
limited
knowledge
participating
regarding
managing
hazards,
including
mycotoxins,
bacteria,
viruses,
parasites
(BVPs).
A
significant
proportion
(89.5%)
of
women
reported
inconsistent
or
no
handwashing
with
soap
after
using
toilet.
In
addition,
48.7%
failed
plant
first
rains,
38.7%
neglected
check
moldy
cobs
during
harvesting,
57.4%
dried
maize
on
bare
soil,
99.2%
bought
noticeable
mold.
Higher
education,
positive
attitudes
associated
enhanced
BVP
control
practices,
while
larger
households
linked
improved
mold/mycotoxin
management
(p
<
0.05).
Mothers
showed
lower

attitude

BVPs
but
demonstrated
relatively
better
