Abstract The convoluted structure of rice straw containing high silica in cell wall, sturdy bonding lignin with fibers, massive fine fractions, strong cellulose crystallinity and other concomitant factors are the major constraints for applications various sectors. conversion into treasure requires essential initial treatment so as to separate lignin, reduce content dissolving its hemicellulosic fibers. Present study focused on enzymatic pretreatment cellulase (CTec2), xylopectinase, laccase silicases ash without causing depletion long chain process conditions like dose, time, temperature pH every were optimized. results obtained all enzymes significant but highest reduction 26.5% 20.8% was approached during pretreatment. After that, i.e. 19.7% achieved at optimized conditions. CTec2 xylopectinase also effective pretreatments showed dramatic impact fibrous composition. revealed that a proficient two stage based silicase can be developed using present add value this agro-waste.

Abstract With the increased cultivation of rice crop, problem accumulating waste biomass after harvesting is becoming a huge challenge, disposal which through land filling and burning leads to global warming. In this work, abundantly available straw strategically functionalized delignification‐ cum ‐phosphorylation route produce smart‐responsive ultra‐light weight aerogels for topical management vulvovaginal candidiasis. The prepared show low density (0.028 g cm −3 ), high water absorption capacity ∼2381.71%, charge content (1850 mmol kg −1 ) phosphate groups covalently linked cellulose backbone as evident from XPS FTIR spectroscopy studies. with porous morphology also cyclic mechanical compressibility thermal stability due presence char (28.5% at 700 °C). negatively charged prolonged storage release profile clotrimazole synergistically strong antifungal response against several Candida species lowered MIC ∼0.02µg ml . Interestingly, post‐phosphorylation improved biodegradation ∼83% within 92 days under soil conditions. This study proposes low‐cost, facile, eco‐friendly, sustainable approach convert into high‐performance potential treatment vaginal infections improving female reproductive health.
