Background: The intersection of occupational burnout and digital leisure activities has garnered increasing scholarly attention in recent years. However, limited research examined how Chinese healthcare workers engage with short-form video apps as a stress management tool. Objectives: This study employs serial multiple mediation model to explore the impact on use its subsequent effects sense community, intrinsic rewards, life satisfaction among aged 18-34. Methods: Data were collected through an online survey, 362 valid responses, analyzed using descriptive statistics, hierarchical regression, analyses, including via SPSS 25.0. Results: results demonstrate positive direct association between apps. Furthermore, relationship was mediated two distinct pathways, namely, community rewards. Conclusions: These findings contribute expanding body literature role media well-being workers, well highlighting evidence-based interventions support workers' high-stress settings.
