Numerous studies have delved into anticipating the loadcarrying capacity (LC) of fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP)-confined concrete-filled steel tubes (CFST) compression members (SFC) using limited and noisy data. However, none undertaken a comparative assessment accuracy among various modeling techniques based on an extensive refined database. This study aims to introduce analytical model for forecasting LC SFC members. The is developed utilizing database comprising 712 samples, considering mechanism confinement both FRP wraps. By incorporating lateral columns, yields precise predictions. As per experimental database, demonstrates statistics such as MAE = 427, MAPE 283, R2 0.815, RMSE 275, a20-index 0.73, indicating its effectiveness in providing accurate

In this study, the crashworthiness behavior and energy absorption capacity of composite tubes under lateral indentation by steel rods aligned parallel to specimen axis are investigated using experimental methods. Key parameters such as tube diameter, length, wall thickness, indenter diameter systematically examined compared. Additionally, influence polyurethane foam fillers on damage modes is rigorously analyzed. Contrary conventional findings, smaller specimens filled with demonstrate superior compared their larger counterparts, primarily due enhanced compression volume. Experimental results reveal a complex interplay mechanisms in specimens, including matrix cracking, fiber breakage, crushing, densification, fracture, debonding layers, all contributing absorption. Increased alongside decreased correlated higher contact forces improved Smoother shell fractures promoted, overall capabilities presence fillers. This investigation provides valuable insights into structural response tubes, which essential for optimizing design across various engineering applications.

The lifecycle of wind turbine blades is around 20-25 years. This makes studies on the reuse dismantled an urgent need for our generation; however, their recycling very difficult due to specific makeup composite material. In this study, authors determined a concept blade sections filled with concrete geotechnical structures, retaining walls, piles, or parts foundations. Working out detailed structural solutions above problem should be preceded by identification material parameters. particular, getting know interface stress-strain characteristics crucial. Therefore, research focuses cooperation between recycled FRP composites and in load-carrying, including experiments numerical analyses. Regarding two types destructive stress, which may occur at under both compression bending, tests were executed: 'push-out test', modelling interface's answer shear 'pull-off demonstrating reaction normal stress. Additionally, strength parameters materials used tested. model push-out process was calibrated basis tests, way bond coefficient friction laminate assessed.
