Coastal cities worldwide face increasing threats from climate change, including rising sea levels, extreme weather events, and flooding. Enhancing the resilience of these is critical to mitigating impacts on infrastructure, ecosystems, human populations. Geographic Information Systems (GIS) offer powerful tools for analyzing vulnerabilities guiding adaptation strategies. This paper investigates coastal using GIS techniques assess risks, map vulnerable areas, propose measures. By combining spatial analysis data, we evaluate three cities—Miami, Mumbai, Manila. The results show significant variations in vulnerability due differences geography, urban density, socio-economic factors. We provide actionable recommendations improving resilience, zoning reforms, flood-resistant community-based adaptive practices.
