Walnut shells were used to produce highly microporous activated carbon. The exclusion mechanism of food contaminants such as bisphenol A (BPA), Flavonoids (FLA), and Goitrin (GOI) onto the novel gallium-metal organic framework (MOF) functionalized MOF with oxalamide group (MOF-OX) is evaluated by utilizing molecular dynamics (MD) Metadynamics simulations. atoms in molecules (AIM) analysis detected different types atomic interactions between contaminant substrates. In this study, we used Principal Component Analysis (PCA) to evaluate the physical and operational properties of palladium (Pd)-based membrane composites, focusing on variables like temperature, differential pressure (ΔP), thickness, hydrogen (H2) permeability, H2 flux. The analysis revealed that first two principal components explained 53.16% total variance, indicating moderate explanatory power. Interdependencies were observed among flux, while ΔP functioned independently. This study found similarities membranes, such as eco-friendly chitosan-based which performed comparably conventional options Pd–PSS Pd–Cu/αAl2O3. Overall, PCA proved be an invaluable tool for uncovering hidden patterns, optimizing experimental processes, deepening understanding Pd-based membranes. findings underscore PCA’s potential enhance material performance promote sustainable alternatives, with practical benefits advancing separation technologies. illustrates how data-driven approaches can refine drive innovation in design.

Abstract This study aims at elucidating the role of polysaccharide skeleton (alginate versus chitosan) during growth and shaping HKUST‐1 as porous beads. Although two biopolymers afford an open hydrogel network, freeze‐drying step was crucial with water medium being inappropriate to preserve crystalline framework HKUST‐1. Alternatively, drying in ethanol circumvented this drawback by keeping intact structure However, a contrasting behavior observed resulting polysaccharide@HKUST‐1 beads, grown alginate underwent dramatic collapse, whereas self‐standing, microspheres could be obtained using chitosan templating route. The chitosan@HKUST‐1 cryogel displays enhanced CO 2 capture (2.67 mmol.g −1 ) compared its analogs shaped alginate, making consequently better option for structuring MOF‐based adsorbents.
