Out-of-season
breeding
is
an
effective
method
for
addressing
seasonal
shortages
of
fry
in
aquaculture
species
such
as
largemouth
bass
(LMB)
year-round
production.
Anti-seasonal
reproduction
LMB
can
be
achieved
by
subjecting
to
prolonged
low-temperature
conditions;
however,
this
affects
their
sperm
quality
and
leads
a
decrease
reproductive
efficiency.
Therefore,
it
crucial
investigate
issues
the
damage
testis
related
mechanisms
caused
stress
during
out-of-season
breeding.
In
experiment,
we
assessed
changes
testes
time
comparing
testicular
histomorphology,
ultrastructure,
hormone-related
indices,
antioxidant
capacity,
apoptosis.
We
synthesized
measurements
from
three
identically
treated
cement
ponds
fish
exposed
water
temperatures
13–16°C
assess
testes.
The
results
showed
that
(1)
delayed
production
promoted
redevelopment
LMB.
(2)
head
plasma
membrane
spermatozoa
was
separated,
middle
mitochondria
were
swollen.

Various
hormone
levels
(e.g.,
LH,
FSH,

altered
experimental

suggest
adversely
testis.
Our
findings
provide
new
insights
into
molecular
trigger
fish.

is
the

glucocorticoid

during
stress
responses
in
most
fish
and
has
been
employed
to
investigate
different
stressors,
including
organic
pollutants.
This
review
discusses
shifts
cortisol
concentrations
examines
matrix
sampling
methods
(invasive
vs.
minimally
or
non-invasive)
analytical
determination
techniques
(immunoassays
liquid
chromatography-tandem
mass
spectrometry).
Assessments
on
pollutant
exposure
associated
adverse
effects
are
also
discussed.
Studies
this
regard
may
aid
identifying
toxicological
modes
of
action,
mechanistic
response,
toxicokinetics,
toxicodynamics,
as
well
pollution
sources
health
risks
fish,
ultimately
aiding
development
effective
management
strategies
mitigate
impacts

Abstract
The
large
use
of
fish
meal/fish
oil
in
carnivorous
feeds
is
the
main
concern
regarding
environmental
sustainability
aquaculture.
Here,
we
evaluated
effects
an
innovative
diet,
designed
to
be
(1)
environmentally
sustainable
by
lowering
marine
protein
content
while
being
(2)
cost
effective
using
alternative
raw
materials
with
acceptable
and
produced
on
industrial
scale,
growth
performance,
gut
microbiota
composition,
health
welfare
European
sea
bass
(
Dicentrarchus
labrax
),
a
key
species
Mediterranean
aquaculture,
reared
cages.
Results
show
that
specific
rate
fed
low
diet
was
significantly
lower
than
those
conventional
(0.67%
vs
0.69%).
Fatty
acid
profile
fillets
from
presented
significant
n-6
higher
n-3
when
compared
ones.
Then,
increase
abundance
Vibrio
reduction
Photobacterium
were
found
but
needs
further
investigation.
