Abstract Development of high throughput single-cell sequencing technologies has made it cost-effective to profile thousands cells from diverse samples containing multiple cell types. To study how these different types work together, here we develop NATMI (Network Analysis Toolkit for Multicellular Interactions). uses connectomeDB2020 (a database 2293 manually curated ligand-receptor pairs with literature support) predict and visualise cell-to-cell communication networks (or bulk) expression data. Teeth exert fundamental functions related to mastication and speech. Despite their great biomedical importance, an overall picture of cellular molecular composition is still missing. In this study, we have mapped the transcriptional landscape various cell populations that compose human teeth at single-cell resolution, analyzed in deeper detail stem microenvironment.
