To explore the energy damage evolution law and catastrophic failure characteristics of sandstone in Luohe Formation after thawing, uniaxial compression tests on one freeze-thaw cycle with different freezing temperatures were conducted. The mechanical properties mode thawed analyzed. Furthermore, its sensitivity to temperature during deformation investigated. Subsequently, a model was proposed predict time Formation. results showed that peak strength elastic modulus decrease temperature. modes can be classified into axial splitting failure, shear tensile-shear mixed failure. Additionally, temperature, strain release rate dissipation growth rock samples decrease. Energy process thawing is divided stages minor damage, deceleration steadily increase, accelerated sharply increase. presents clear critical power-law singularity behavior, characteristic value β roughly 0.7±0.1. prediction method yields imminent ( t f p =4.356 min) very close actual =4.376 at -10 °C, are good stable.

In order to study the influence of confining pressure on deformation concrete, triaxial compression and creep tests under different pressures are carried out using a combination laboratory theoretical analysis.
