This study assessed the chemical profiles and bioactivities of infusions, decoctions hydroethanolic extracts tarragon, basil French lavender. Manilkara zapota "chicozapote" is an autochthonous evergreen tree from the Southern regions of Mexico, Belize, and Guatemala. Currently, it widely distributed extensively grown in Mexico Southeast Asia. Traditionally, different structures plant have been used for medical purposes; seeds diuretic purgative properties, aiding digestive complications eliminating bladder kidney stones. Tree bark has antidiarrheal, antipyretic, antibiotic, astringent properties. Fruits leaves to treat cold, cough, diarrhea, indigestion, fever, hemorrhages, wounds, ulcers. Chicozapote fruit yellow brown, with oval shape rough peel, excellent source nutrients, such as sugars, proteins, amino acids, minerals, rich phytochemical components, flavonoids, phenolic tannins. These bioactive compounds exert several biological activities, i.e., antioxidant, antidiabetic, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, cytotoxic, anti-arthritic agents, name a few. beneficial properties assist preventing chronic degenerative diseases, cancer, diabetes, neurological, infectious, cardiovascular diseases. The use chicozapote still limited its fresh form, non-edible produce lot waste. Therefore, alternative valorizing preserving strategy raw design functional foods pharmacological products. The broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity of Elsholtzia ciliate essential oil (ECO) has been previously reported, but its effectiveness against halitosis-causing bacteria such as Fusobacterium nucleatum and Porphyromonas gingivalis is not well understood. In this study, we investigated the bacteriostatic ECO planktonic cells biofilms F. P. gingivalis, ability to inhibit bacterial metabolism production volatile sulfur compounds (VSCs) at sub-lethal concentrations.
