В статье анализируются два ключевых вызова для трудового права, возникших в связи с развитием информационных технологий: изменение структуры занятости (переход трудовой деятельности из сферы производства в сферу услуг, отмирание старых и появление новых профессий) и трансформация трудового отношения в связи с возникновением новых форм занятости, приводящая к эрозии важнейших признаков трудового отношения, включая подчинение работника работодателю и контроль за осуществлением труда как процесса. В связи с первым вызовом автор рассматривает проблемы регулирования труда наиболее уязвимой с точки зрения изменения видов профессий категории работников — работников пенсионного и предпенсионного возраста.
