Introduction
Hepatitis
B
is
a
highly
contagious
viral
infection
that
has
long
been
significant
global
health
concern.
Given
its
adverse
effects
on
the
course
of
disease,
evaluating
psychiatric
outcomes
important.
Despite
indications
an
increased
risk
psychological
among
those
with
hepatitis
B,

this
association
remains
unclear.
Methods
This
PRISMA-adherent
systematic
review
(PROSPERO:
CRD42024564246)
searched
PubMed,
Embase,
Cochrane,
and
PsycINFO
for
all
studies
prevalence
anxiety
depressive
symptoms
in
individuals
B.
Random
meta-analyses
meta-regression
were
used
primary
analysis.
Results
A
total
31
included.
We
identified
high
(Proportion=19%,
