Achieving thermochromic afterglow (TCAG) in a single material for advanced information encryption remains significant challenge. Herein, TCAG carbon dots (CDs)-inked paper (CDs@Paper) is achieved by tuning the temperature-dependent dual-mode of room temperature phosphorescence (RTP) and thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF). The CDs are synthesized through thermal treatment levofloxacin melting boric acid with postpurification via dialysis. CDs@Paper exhibit both excitation-dependent color properties. exhibits dynamic changes from blue at high temperatures to yellow low adjusting proportion TADF phosphorescence. Notably, two-photon CDs-based materials time-dependent colors first time. Moreover, leveraging opposite emission responses temperature, demonstrate temperature-sensing capabilities across wide range. Developing donor-acceptor [n]cycloparaphenylenes (D-A [n]CPPs) with multiple emissions from different emissive states remains challenging yet crucial for achieving white-light emission in single-molecule. Here, we report our explorations into acceptor engineering of quinone-based D-A [10]CPPs (Nq/Aq/Tq[10]CPPs) via a post-lateral annulation using Diels-Alder reactions oxTh[10]CPP. X-ray analysis reveals that Nq[10]CPP displays side by packing naphthoquione stacking while Aq[10]CPP adopts an intercalated conformation through anthraquinone interaction. Fluorescence investigations reveal the display distinctive acceptor-dependent dual-emission both locally excited state and charge transfer after single-wavelength excitation organic solvents, consequently leading to multicolor emissions, particular, CHCl3 Aq[10]CPP. In THF/water mixture, oxTh[10]CPP wide range fluorescence including as increasing fraction water, accompanying formation nanoparticles demonstrated Tyndall effect SEM. Abstract Thermally activated delay fluorescence (TADF) has great potential for information encryption, temperature detection, and bioimaging due to its long‐lived luminescence, temperature‐sensitive high signal‐to‐noise ratio. However, it is still a challenge establish TADF in aqueous environments. In this study, the composite with (M‐FNCDs) prepared using fluorine‐nitrogen co‐doped carbon dots (FNCDs) melamine. It worth mentioning that M‐FNCDs show stable under long‐wavelength excitation (470 nm) Moreover, distinctive temperature‐responsive properties exhibit good linear relationships range of 77–370 K. Simultaneously, suspension as ink utilized realize encryption/decryption their afterglow cannot be quenched an solution. Abstract Carbon dots (CDs) with good optical properties, biocompatibility, easy functionalization, and small size have attracted more attention laid a foundation for their applications in the biomedicine field. CDs emitted near‐infrared regions (NIR‐CDs) can achieve high penetration depth imaging produce cytotoxic substance disease treatment. Therefore, NIR‐CDs are promising materials to realize high‐quality imaging‐guided diagnostic therapeutic integration. This review first introduces current mainstream synthesis methods of by “top–down” “bottom–up”. Second, luminescence modes introduced, mechanisms based on carbon core state, surface molecular crosslinking enhanced emission summarized. Third, principles imaging, drug delivery, non‐invasive therapeutics introduced from view diagnosis therapy. Finally, prospects challenges biomedical biotechnological outlined.
