Abstract A series of magnetorheological shear stiffening gels (MRSSGs) were produced by incorporating varying amounts carbonyl iron powder (CIP) into a gel (SSG) matrix. The dynamic excellence MRSSG was evaluated using rheometer. MRSSGs possess magnetic-sensitive properties and can autonomously respond to external stimuli because B–O cross-linked bonds. In examining the effect angular frequency on magneto-induced modulus, an initial angle introduced, leading establishment diagonal distributional particle chain model. This model serves indirectly illustrate relationship between modulus frequency. Theoretical results derived from modeling calculations analyses, align well with experimental findings as magnetic induction intensity varies across different excitation frequencies. Additionally, exhibits increase that gradually approaches saturation rising intensity.

Abstract 3D‐printed polymer‐based composites are promising for various engineering applications due to high strength‐to‐weight ratios and design flexibility. However, conventional matrix materials, such as polylactic acid epoxy resin, often exhibit brittleness limited impact resistance (< 10 kJ m − 2 ). Herein, a universal strategy is reported enhancing the ductility energy absorption of by leveraging dynamic crosslinking B─O dative bonds. To validate its effectiveness, smart composite (PLA/SSG) comprising shear‐stiffening gel fillers embedded in designed rate‐dependent mechanical adjustability along with 3D printability evaluated. The resulting shows significant improvements resistance, ductility, strength‐ductility balance. Specifically, multiple crack localized plastic yielding induced enables PLA/SSG 40‐times increase ductility; “soft‐hard” phase transition bonds endows 330% improvement absorption. This bonds‐inspired provides approach printing impact‐resistant structures.

Abstract Despite extensive research on enhancing the strength, toughness, or impact resistance of elastomers, materials that simultaneously integrate these properties remain elusive. In this work, a multifunctional elastomer is developed with high superior and excellent by designing multiscale structures. The synergistic coupling strong weak hydrogen bonds, rigid ring‐flexible chain coordination, precise control hard/soft block ratio enabled development an optimized architecture tailored for performance, achieving tensile strength 84 MPa toughness 450 MJ m⁻ 3 , while maintaining across varying strain rates. Additionally, incorporation hindered urea dynamic covalent bonds bond‐induced localized conjugation effect impart thermal adhesion fluorescence capabilities, broadening material's functional application scenarios. This molecular design strategy not only facilitates tailoring high‐performance but also provides new insights into structure‐property relationships in elastomers.
