Moisture-driven actuators featuring programmable stimuli-responsiveness and a rapid response have garnered substantial research attention. Cellulose-based face challenges, including prolonged unstable responsiveness, along with inadequate interfacial bonding. Herein, we developed bilayer structured moisture actuator by integrating multiscale cellulose fibers chitosan. The protonated chitosan forms strong electrostatic attractions negatively charged nanofibrils (CNF), achieving robust interaction. Leveraging the hierarchically porous structure varying hygroscopicity of microfibrillated (MFC) CNF, film establishes an effective wettability gradient, enabling stable actuation performance. exhibits large deformation toward bending angle 60°, short time 12 s, good stability over 50 wetting drying cycles, promising recyclability. Harnessing these advantageous properties, was demonstrated for its applications in automatic cooling textiles, contactless electrical switches, artificial moisture-activated muscles, showing great potential practical use.

Abstract Dielectric elastomer actuators (DEAs) offer versatile applications including haptics, soft robotics and smart lenses. However, due to the lack of conductive electrodes with low modulus high stretchability, their use is limited by nonsolid electrodes, hindering integration other systems. In this study, transparent patternable solid achieving actuation performance comparable a commonly used non‐solid counterpart (e.g., carbon grease), stretchable conducting polymer composed PEDOT:PSS PEG‐PPG‐PEG diacrylate (P123DA) are reported. Varying ratio P123DA enables optimization electrical mechanical properties achieve compliant in static dynamic actuation. The found impact nanofiber formation associated properties. Moreover, resulting P123DA/PEDOT:PSS‐based electrode shows excellent optical transmittance exceeding 95%. This work highlights potential tuning different realize transparent, patternable, enhancing applicability diverse fields.

The trade-off between high sensitivity and wide detection range remains a challenge for flexible capacitive pressure sensors. Gradient structure can provide continuous deformation lead to sensing range. However, it simultaneously augments the distance two electrodes, which diminishes variation in relative results decreased sensitivity. Herein, conformal design is introduced into gradient construct sensor. dome fabricated by simple reverse adsorption process. Taking advantage of progressive behavior dielectric, significant improvement electrodes from design, sensor achieves 0.214 kPa

Electronic skin (e-skin) has been extensively investigated for its potential application in heart health monitoring, such as screening cardiovascular diseases and evaluating cardiac activity. Nevertheless, the poor electrical stability of traditional metal electrodes insufficient adhesion ordinary flexible substrates are primary impediments that hinder further product marketing healthcare field. Herein, we propose a novel integrated e-skin incorporates embedded stretchable with high (within 20% strain) microsucker array improved adhesion, which facilitates effective reduction motion artifact interference. Moreover, wireless monitoring system based on is designed to realize synchronous electrocardiogram (ECG) ballistocardiogram (BCG) detection by collecting chest epidermal mechano-acoustic signals vibration-voltage signals. The results same adult volunteer indicate ECG BCG data recorded this have good consistency from commercial devices. Furthermore, signal different volunteers validated disease diagnosis long-term monitoring.

Abstract Fiber electronics have gained significant attention for their seamless integration into textiles, offering enhanced flexibility, breathability, and wearability. However, conventional circuit assembly methods fiber devices often rely on rigid irreversible connections, such as silver conductive adhesives, which impede essential modifications in electronic textiles like energy module upgrades, sensor replacements, damage repair. Here, a universal magnetic‐conductive (MC) interface that facilitates robust, reversible interconnections is presented. Fabricated by sequentially depositing magnetic interlayer sheath electrode ends using coating die, this compatible with diverse devices. Upon close proximity, the MC interfaces magnetically attract establish stable electrical pathway spontaneously (<40 ms), delivering conductivity comparable to cured paste. Remarkably, connection retains its performance over 10 000 connect‐disconnect cycles, mechanical swinging operations under environmental conditions. The versatility of further demonstrated creating detachable fabric power bank wearable integrating removable signal‐processing textile on‐demand electrocardiogram monitoring rats. Overall, innovation establishes universal, scalable platform electronics, paving way next‐generation customizable

Zwitterionic polymer hydrogels have great application prospects in wearable electronic devices due to their antifouling and excellent biocompatibility. However, its strong hydrophilicity often leads easy swelling poor mechanical properties. In this study, aramid nanofiber (ANF)-reinforced zwitterionic ion were synthesized by the one-step free radical polymerization of N-acryloyl glycinamide (NAGA), N-[Tris (hydroxymethyl) methyl] acrylamide (THMA) sulfobetaine methacrylate (SBMA) monomers presence ANFs. A large number hydrogen bonds formed between amide groups ANFs NAGA units/the hydroxyl THMA sulfonic SBMA units, which improved internal interface force hydrogel. The obtained ANF-reinforced hydrogel had an anti-swelling property, ratio tensile strength 25% 170% those without addition By introducing lithium chloride as electrolyte improve conductivity subsequently assembling it into strain sensors, exhibited a high sensitivity (GF = 1.12), short response recovery times (100 ms 150 ms), cycling stability. This work provides feasible strategy for sensors.
