Comprehensive
Summary
Photocatalytic
synthesis
of
hydrogen
peroxide
(H
2
O
)
from
air
and
water
presents
a
sustainable
efficient
alternative
to
the
traditional
anthraquinone
method.
Therefore,
design
photocatalysts
for
H
production
are
important.
In
this
work,
we
apply
nitrogen‐site
engineering
strategy
achieve
high‐performance
by
synthesizing
three
imine‐
linked
oligo(phenylenevinylene)‐based
covalent
organic
frameworks
(OPV‐COFs)
doped
with
different
numbers
nitrogen
atoms
(denoted
as
COF‐920‐
n
N,
=
0,
1,
3).
characterization
confirmed
high
crystallinity
porosity
COFs,
critical
photocatalysis.
Each
OPV‐COF
exhibited
ability
rapidly
synthesize
using
water,
COF‐920‐1N
achieving
highest
rate
4288
μmol·g
–1
·h
under
visible
light,
higher
than
those
most
other
reported
COFs.
Mechanism
studies
demonstrated
that
introduction
pyridine
at
junction
changes
electronic
structure
electron
transfer
path
within
enhancing
photogenerated
mobility
reducing
electron‐hole
recombination.
This
study
not
only
pioneers
class
OPV‐COFs
photocatalytic
,
but
also
sets
foundational
rational
COFs
in
applications.

Abstract
Covalent
organic
frameworks
(COFs)
attract
significant
attention
due
to
their
ordered,
crystalline,
porous,
metal‐free,
and
predictable
structures.
These
unique
characteristics
offer
great
opportunities
for
the
diffusion
transmission
of
photogenerated
charges
during
photocatalysis.
Currently,
a
considerable
number
COFs
are
used
as
metal‐free
semiconductor
photocatalysts.
This
review
aims
understand
relationships
between
structure
photocatalysis
performance
provides
in‐depth
insight
into
synthetic
strategy
improve
performance.
Subsequently,
focuses
on
structural
motif
in
sustainable
photocatalytic
hydrogen
evolution,
carbon
dioxide
reduction,
peroxide
generation,
compound
transformations.
Last,
conjunction
with
progress
achieved
challenges
yet
be
overcome,
candid
discussion
is
undertaken
regarding
field
COF
photocatalysis,

Abstract
The
evolution
of
two‐dimensional
conjugated
metal–organic
frameworks
(2D
c‐MOFs)
provides
a
significant
prospect
for
researching
the
next
generation
green
and
advanced
energy
storage
systems
(ESSs).
Especially,
conjugation
topology
engineering
serve
as
an
irreplaceable
character
in
adjusting
electrochemical
properties
ESSs.
Herein,
we
proposed
novel
strategy
using
to
demonstrate
application
2D
c‐MOFs
robust
potassium‐ion
batteries
(PIBs)
first
time.
By
comparing
with
rhombus/kagome
structure
well
three/four‐arm
core,
rhombus
(sql‐Cu‐TBA‐MOF)

PIBs

Abstract
Photocatalytic
water
splitting
for
hydrogen
production
represents
a
crucial
approach
obtaining
green
energy
through
artificial
solar
utilization,
offering
sustainable
method
generation
that
helps
mitigate
shortages
and
protect
the
environment.
Among
numerous
photocatalytic
materials,
covalent
organic
frameworks
(COFs)
have
garnered
significant
attention
intensive
study
from
researchers
due
to
their
distinctive
benefits,
such
as
porosity,
pre‐design
capability,
tunability
at
atomic
level.
Significant
advancements
are
made
in
development
of
enhancement
performance,
comprehension
mechanisms.
In
this
review,
recent
COF‐based
spotlighted,
both
half‐reactions
overall
reactions,
with
particular
emphasis
on
rational
design
COF
structures
regulate
materials'
optical
electrical
properties,
well
fundamental
processes
photocatalysis.
Drawing
current
research
field,
existing
challenges,
potential
opportunities
also
discussed
future
development.

The
construction
of
heterojunction
is
an
effective
way
to
promote
the
photoinduced
charge
carrier
separation
in
spatial,
thus
accelerating
photocatalytic
reaction.
However,
regulation
interface
properties,
as
a
crucial
factor
affecting
diffusion
process,
still
remains
significant
challenge.
In
this
work,
BiOBr/TpBD-COF
was
successfully
constructed
via
novel
phase
transformation
strategy.
Specifically,
perovskite
Cs3Bi2Br9
first
synthesized
and
then
in-situ
transformed
into
BiOBr
during
preparation
TpBD-COF
procedure,
obtaining
with
favorable
interface.
According
X-ray
photoelectron
spectroscopy
(XPS)
characterization

electrons

by

evolution

This
study
will
provide
some
inspirations
for
developing
efficient
COF-based
photocatalysts.

Abstract
The
water
oxidation
reaction
(WOR)
with
sluggish
kinetics
usually
fails
to
adequately
furnish
protons
oxygen
reduction
(ORR),
which
ultimately
constrains
the
overall
efficiency
of
photocatalytic
synthesis
H
2
O
,
particularly
in
absence
sacrificial
agents.
Herein,
a
class
hydroxyl
groups
(─OH)
functionalized
covalent
organic
framework
(COF)
is
reported
as
proton
reservoir
compensate
ORR
for
greatly
improving
photosynthesis.
It
has
been
demonstrated
that
incorporation
─OH
into
TFBP‐DHBD
(TFBP:
1,2,4,5‐tetrakis‐(4‐formylphenyl)benzene,
DHBD:
3,3′‐dihydroxybenzidine)
COF
can
achieve
3.3
times
higher
photosynthetic
activity
than
TFBP‐BD
(BD:
benzidine)
without
groups.
Isotope
labeling
experiments
and
situ
infrared
spectroscopy
analysis
demonstrate
donate
subsequently
regain
released
from
WOR.
Theoretical
calculations
further
confirm
provides
formation
*OOH
intermediate
reduces
its
energy
barrier,
thereby
facilitating
photosynthesis
