Lignin is a biopolymer generated from the pulp and paper industry as natural resource. valorization advantageous for biorefineries to produce aromatic compounds, fragrance, biofuel, material, commodity chemicals, which could be an alternative of crude oil-derived products. However, several barriers are involved in lignin extraction depolymerization, need solved its full utilization. The electrochemical oxidative upgrading into oxygenated molecule promising method, cleaves C–O C–C bond by direct or indirect method. As solvents, electrolytes, well catalysts organic synthesis processes, ionic liquids (ILs) deep eutectic solvents (DESs) have gained significant attention dissolution media depolymerization. In this work, carbon-rich macromolecule depolymerization ILs/DESs was reviewed gain better understanding barriers, covering interaction with structure, degradation mechanism, thermochemical transformations, COSMO-RS theoretical modeling screening. In-situ generation free radicals (reactive oxygen species H2O2) value-added products also discussed. All these studies give importance thermochemical, cleavage achieving sustainable future goals.

Abstract In this study, an innovative strategy is proposed to design porous ionic liquids (PILs) using lipophilicity differences, defined as type III‐B PIL, which overcomes the traditional size‐effect limitations in PIL design. An SBA‐15 confined high‐entropy single‐atom catalyst (HESAC@SBA‐15) with oleophobic internal surface was engineered framework and oleaginous 1‐butyl‐3‐methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate organic guest for constructing a novel (PILS‐B). This of PILS‐B combines exceptional gas storage capacity PILs high catalytic activity HESAC@SBA‐15. Additionally, mesoporous structure enhances mass transfer during reactions, thereby improving efficiency. Using aerobic oxidation aromatic sulfur compounds fuel oils model reaction, achieved desulfurization efficiency >99%. expands variety frameworks guests design, showcasing potential effective stable catalysts broader applications catalysis.

The results of an investigation impact the structure recently synthesized bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide mono- and dicationic ionic liquids on their properties behavior as lubricants for slippery liquid infused superhydrophobic coatings are presented a wide temperature range. In this study, new approach based monitoring surface tension sessile droplet top coating was exploited analysis evolution in prolonged contact with liquid. It found that continuous water flow property degradation according to two different scenarios. first one, washing out lubricant eventually led transition from droplets sliding them rolling establishment state. second scenario revealed di- monocationic ILs siloxane linker or both tails through depletion texture, increase angle value, loss properties, establishing homogeneous wetting regime by aqueous around 140°. obtained experimental data allowed concluding that, among studied ILs, alkyl mixed alkylene/siloxane better suitable application slippery, regularly refilled surfaces.

Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory disease with complex pathogenesis, influenced by various factors involving environment, genes, and immunity. The main symptoms of psoriasis include erythema, scales, itching, etc. At present, therapeutic drugs for are continually evolving towards enhancing treatment efficacy reducing side effects. Firstly, the pathogenesis characteristics were summarized. Then, types benefits topical therapy introduced, such as aspects avoiding systemic toxic effects, first pass effect, gastrointestinal reactions accelerating onset time improving its efficacy, compared to drugs. In case methotrexate, cyclosporin A, Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitors, phosphodiesterase-4 (PDE-4) this review had further discussion on improvement translation these molecules from in clinical practice. To augment limitation skin permeability, nanotechnology novel drug delivery system including nanomedicines, hydrogels, ionic liquids, microneedles elaborated management. Also, exploration targeting pathogenic genes through small interfering RNA (siRNA) using nanoparticles liquids (ILs) great significance long-term psoriasis. Taken together, development numerous platforms expected achieve enhanced penetration, precise efficient molecule interference (RNAi) therapeutics prospects.
