The phase selection mechanism and eutectic growth kinetics of Nb<sub>81.7</sub>Si<sub>17.3</sub>Hf alloy were investigated by electrostatic levitation technique. maximum undercooling this reached 404 K(0.19<i>T</i><sub>L</sub>). By analyzing the cooling curves, its hypercooling limit was derived as 527 K(0.24<i>T</i><sub>L</sub>). A critical 194 K determined for transition solidification path. Below threshold, (Nb) firstly nucleated grew primary dendrites, resulting in enrichment Si Hf residual melt, which would be beneficial to formation (Nb)+αNb<sub>5</sub>Si<sub>3</sub> eutectics. Therefore, lamellar eutectics formed interdendritic spaces. With increase undercooling, velocity dendritic followed a power function, while increased slowly. values 89.4 mm∙s<sup>-1</sup>. modified LKT/BCT model used calculated dendrites. results good agreement with experimental values, indicating that LKT can describe rapid dendrite behavior melt few modifications. Meanwhile, spacing notably decreased 360 nm at undercooling. Above dendrites disappeared, whereas Nb<sub>3</sub>Si phases independently undercooled liquid anomalous function value 115.9 interphase (Nb)+Nb<sub>3</sub>Si larger than Owing nanosized volume fraction phase, fracture toughness attained 21.9 MPa∙m<sup>1/2</sup>, 3.4 times under small condition.

Chinese Space Station (CSS) has been fully deployed by the end of 2022, and facility entered into application development phase. It conducted scientific research projects in various fields, such as space life science biotechnology, materials science, microgravity fundamental physics, fluid combustion new technologies, applications. In this review, we introduce progress CSS provide an overview recent findings several typical fields. Such compelling mainly concern rapid solidification ultra-high temperature alloy melts, dynamics transport space, gravity scaling law boiling heat transfer, vibration fluidization phenomenon particulate matter, cold atom interferometer technology under high related equivalence principle testing, full cycle rice so forth. Furthermore, planned corresponding prospects station next few years are presented.

In this work, a new treatment method combining ultrasonic vibration with FeCoNiCrCu high entropy alloy (HEA) coating was used to prepared Al/Mg bimetal through the lost foam compound casting. The effects of composite involving and HEA on interfacial microstructure mechanical properties were studied.
