Abstract Since the 18th century, capacitors have significantly advanced in theoretical research and industrial applications. With increasing demand for high‐performance capacitors, focus on materials manufacturing techniques has become critical. This review aims to provide a comprehensive survey of polymer emphasizing their processes connection between practical Beginning with fundamental principles dielectric capacitor design, this delves into key aspects such as material preparation, film fabrication, assembly while addressing challenges scale‐up usage. Special attention is given metallization winding processes, these are pivotal ensuring high reliability performance capacitors. Additionally, analyzes growing market enhanced thermal stability operational efficiency, identifying directions address current limitations.
