Abstract Narrowband detection is in urgent demand across various fields, which has been realized via charge collection narrowing for solution‐processed materials. However, it requires relatively thick absorbing layer, increasing the complexity of fabrication. In this work, an inverted device structure combined with P‐type Sb 2 Se 3 active layer to fabricate narrowband photodetector employed, unbalanced transport leads wavelength‐dependent photogenerated carrier collection. This approach achieves visible‐blind near‐infrared photodetectors thin thickness. The optimized devices exhibit excellent performance metrics, including low dark current and noise, high specific detectivity > 10 11 Jones, fast response time 655 ns. More importantly, are successfully applied flame detection, demonstrating great potential practical applications.

Abstract Narrow‐bandwidth emissive carbon dots (NBE‐CDs) are a new class of narrow‐bandwidth fluorescent materials, with the advantages abundant sources, easy modification, low toxicity, cost, and solution processing. Compared traditional dots, NBE‐CDs exhibit narrow full width at half maximum (FWHM), endowing them unique properties, such as high spectral resolution, color purity, photoluminescence quantum yield, consequently making ideal candidates for advanced applications in optoelectronic devices, chemical sensing, bioimaging. This review summarizes research progress recent years, including synthesis methods, FWHM regulation, applications. Most all, regulation strategy liquid/solid state is highlighted, aiming clarifying relationship among structure NBE‐CDs, their property. Besides, existing challenges prospects discussed, expecting to further promote practical multiple fields.
