Over the last ten years, there has been a growing interest in metal–organic frameworks (MOFs), which are unique category of porous materials that combine organic and inorganic components. MOFs have garnered significant attention due to their highly favorable characteristics, such as environmentally friendly nature, enhanced surface area pore volume, hierarchical arrangements, adjustable properties, well versatile applications fields chemical engineering, science, environmental biomedical sectors. This article centers on examining advancements using for remediation purposes. Additionally, it discusses latest developments employing potential tools disease diagnosis drug delivery across various ailments, including cancer, diabetes, neurological disorders, ocular diseases. Firstly, concise overview MOF evolution synthetic techniques employed creating provided, presenting advantages limitations. Air-purification utilizing an air filtration system is vital in maintaining optimum interior quality, despite the highly polluted that anthropogenic activities have exacerbated. Since constituents of pollutants are so unstable and diverse, conventional air-filtering materials made glass fibres or non-biodegradable polymers facing a considerable dilemma completely removing particulate finer size like PM2.5 gaseous harmful chemicals, CO2, other contaminants. These synthetic likewise non-biodegradable, resulting their disposal landfills. Therefore, developing fully biodegradable filtering for purification undeniably urgent. Cellulose widely dispersed natural biopolymer due to its porous, sustainable surface-modifiable nature, it has demonstrated extraordinary relevance numerous fields, including as high-performance system. Abstract The conversion of waste plastic into high‐value‐added chemicals is regarded as a promising approach for relieving global pollution and contributing to the circular economy. Herein, partial calcination strategy developed fabricate zinc oxide/UiO66‐NH 2 (ZnO/UiO66‐NH ) heterojunction, in which ZnO encapsulated porous UiO66‐NH photocatalytic valorization plastic. This preserves framework structure , thus enabling formation with ultra‐small size distributed inside skeleton. synergistic effect obtained ZnO/UiO66‐NH heterojunction facilitates providing an efficient channel carrier/mass transfer guarantees structural stability.
