Gene-editing
technology
has
become
a
transformative
tool
for
the
precise
manipulation
of
biological
genomes
and
holds
great
significance
in
field
animal
disease-resistant
breeding.
Mastitis,
prevalent
disease
husbandry,
imposes
substantial
economic
burden
on
global
dairy
industry.
In
this
study,
regulatory
sequence
gene
editing
breeding
strategy
successful
creation
gene-edited
(GED)
goats
with
enhanced
mastitis
resistance
using
ISDra2-TnpB
system
as
model
is
proposed.
This
included
targeted
integration
an
innate
inflammatory
(IRS)
into
promoter
region
lysozyme
(LYZ)
gene.
Upon
Escherichia
Coli
(E.
coli)
mammary
gland
infection,
GED
exhibited
increased
LYZ
expression,

Goats
(Capra
hircus)
are
a
widely
distributed
livestock
known
for
their
exceptional
environmental
adaptability.
This
review
presents
an
integrated
overview
of
recent
advances
in
understanding
the
genetic
and
molecular
mechanisms
underlying
goat
adaptation
to
heat,
cold,
high-altitude
hypoxia.
We
first
discuss
development
high-quality
reference
genomes,
including
telomere-to-telomere
assemblies.
then
examine
major
adaptive
genes
such
as
HSP70,
ACTHR,
EPAS1,
SLC2A1,
FGF12,
UCP1,
roles
thermoregulation,
oxygen
metabolism,
stress
resistance.
Additionally,
explores
synergistic
role
immune
signaling
pathways
adaptation,
well
regulatory
effects
epigenetic
DNA
methylation,
histone
modification,
non-coding
RNAs.
Future
efforts
should
focus
on
integrating
multi-omics
data
uncover
complex
networks
involved
adaptation.
