Abstract Background Metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) are known for their extensive specific surface area, robust stability, and diverse active sites, which make them highly effective applications in photocatalysis. The deep eutectic system (DESys) offers a green alternative to traditional toxic organic solvents can impart novel, eco‐friendly properties synthesized materials. This study investigates DESys/MIL‐100(Fe), MOF within DESys, its application the photocatalytic decomposition of tetracycline hydrochloride (TC‐HCl). Compared conventional synthesis methods, DESys‐based approach avoids use hydrofluoric acid high‐pressure reaction equipment, making it more environmentally friendly potentially suitable large‐scale industrial production MOFs. Results results showed that DESys/MIL‐100(Fe) demonstrated significantly better performance TC‐HCl degradation than MIL‐100(Fe) by methods. After 2 h visible‐light exposure, efficiency reached 91.20% with while was only 38.74% under identical conditions. improved be attributed enhanced adsorption capabilities, increased number greater absorption visible light, higher carrier density. These factors contribute superior catalytic efficiency. Interface design plays a pivotal role in developing high-performance photocatalysts for NO oxidation. In this work, hierarchical rGO-integrated NH2-MIL125(Ti)/TiO2 photocatalyst was constructed using combined liquid-phase and solid-phase microwave synthesis approach. The process enabled the precise deposition of NH2-MIL125(Ti) on graphene oxide (GO), forming strong interfacial bonds, while thermal shock (SMTS) transformed GO into rGO induced formation TiO2 nanoparticles. This structure established an efficient electron transport pathway, promoting charge separation directional transfer to activate O2 generate superoxide radicals (•O2–) as primary reactive species. resulting achieved remarkable oxidation performance, with 81.2% removal efficiency NO3– selectivity 98.5% under simulated sunlight. study highlights potential microwave–driven interface engineering innovative environmentally sustainable applications.
