Metal-catalyzed cyclization reactions have become a powerful and efficient approach for the stereoselective construction of both carbocyclic heterocyclic ring systems. Transition metal complexes, with their ability to activate selectively functionalize organic substrates, revolutionized various areas synthetic chemistry.
