Abstract
In
this
work,
a
facile
and
versatile
strategy

polycyclic
aromatic
hydrocarbons
(PAHs)
starting
from
functionalized
pentacene
was
established.
A
series
novel
PAHs

–
4
their
derivatives
were
synthesized
through
simple
two‐step
procedure
involving
an
intramolecular
reductive
Friedel–Crafts
cyclization
four
newly
aldehydes

8
as
key
step.
All
molecules
confirmed
by
single‐crystal
X‐ray
diffraction
photophysical
electrochemical
properties
studied
in
detail.
Interestingly,
most
striking
feature
is
highly
carbon
structures
accompanying
helical
chirality.
particular,
optical
resolution

successfully
achieved
chiral‐phase
HPLC,
enantiomers
characterized
circular
dichroism
circularly
polarized
luminescence
spectroscopy.
Despite
nonplanar
conformations,
these
exhibited
emissive
with
moderate‐to‐good
fluorescence
quantum
yields,
implying
potential
utility
high‐quality
organic
laser
dyes.
By
using
self‐assembly
method
help
epoxy
resin,
bottle
microlaser
based
on

illustrated
lasing
wavelength

nm
at
threshold

mJ/cm
.
We
believe
that
work
will
shed

compounds

Twisted
polyarenes
with
persistent
chirality
are
desirable
but
their
synthesis
has
remained
a
challenge.
In
this
study,
we
present
"one-pot"
of
1,2:8,9-dibenzozethrene
(DBZ)
and
its
vertically
fused
dimers
trimers
using
nickel-catalyzed
cyclo-oligomerization
reactions.
X-ray
crystallographic
analysis
confirmed
highly
twisted
helical
structures
that
consist
equal
parts
left-
right-handed
enantiomers.
Notably,
the
end-to-end
twist
between
terminal
anthracene
units
measured
66°,
130°,
201°
for
DBZ
monomer,
dimer,
trimer,
respectively,
setting
new
record
among
polyarenes.
Furthermore,
chiral
resolution
by
HPLC
yielded
two
enantiomers
dimer
both
which
maintained
stable
configurations
showed
absorption
dissymmetry
factors
around
0.008-0.009.
Additionally,
optical
electrochemical
properties
were
investigated,
exhibited
chain-length
dependence.

Two
new
pentagon-embedded
carbo[11]helicenes
have
been
designed
and
synthesized
in
a
three-step
process,
which
are
the
first
example
of
through
post-functionalization
twistacene.
TD-DFT

reactivity

co‐doped
radical
polymers

prepared
by
doping
dihydrophenazine
derivatives
(DPPs)
into
epoxy
resin
matrix.
DPPs
can
form
species
through
electron
transfer
process,
which
are
further
stabilized
complex
3D
network
structure
resin.
Experimental
results
show
that
conversion
efficiency
is
as
79.9%,
and
temperature
quickly
rise
to
≈130
°C
within
60
s.
Due
excellent
visible
light
transmittance
mechanical
properties
systems,
study
demonstrates
practical
applications
energy‐saving
solar
windows
thermoelectric

Abstract
Dynamic
materials
undergoing
adaptive
solid‐state
transitions
are
attractive
for
soft
mechanics
and
information
technology.
Here,
we
report
a
novel
porous
framework
system
based
on
macrocyclic
trimers
assembled
from
open‐shell
tetraarylethylene
building
blocks
with
aryldicyanomethyl
radicals
as
coupling
linkers.
Under
mechanical,
thermal,
or
chemical
stimuli,
the
showed
adaptability
by
activating
conformational
dynamics
radical‐based
transformations,
thus
displaying
macroscopic
responsiveness
in
terms
of
light
absorption,
luminescence,
magnetism.
We
studied
dynamic
processes
variable‐temperature
nuclear
magnetic
resonance
(VT‐NMR),
electron
spin
(VT‐ESR),
superconducting
quantum
interference
device
(SQUID)
measurement
further
established
proof‐of‐concept
application
multi‐modal
encryption.
The
strategy
may
open
avenues
rational
design
photoelectromagnetic
merging
covalent
chemistry
functional
aggregation
principles.

exceptional
ambipolar
transport
characteristics

impressive
hole
mobility

cm
2
V
−1
s
electron
0.03
,
representing
best
ampibolar
SC‐OFETs
RDIs.
Detailed
theoretical
calculations
rationalize
that
larger
transfer
integral
along
direction
responsible
for
achievement
superior
charge
transport.
This
study
showcases
remarkable
potential
optimizing
carrier
performances

aromatic
