Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) plays a vital role in various physiological and pathological processes. Thus, fluorescent probes of H2O2 are powerful tools for the investigation H2O2-related diseases. In this work, we introduce carbonate ester as nonconsumptive recognizing molecule to construct RES-6C novel probe H2O2. exhibited selective sensitive turn-on fluorescence response H2O2, enabling detection cells without disturbing cellular redox status. has been applied study nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, revealing peroxisomes mitochondria contribute production similar extent during very-long-chain acid metabolism first time.
